I bought two of Sanusi’s books at the same time and decided to read them in quick succession.
I’ve just finished her Kemi’s Journal of life, love and everything (see previous entry) and based on how brilliant that was, I was pining for more.
Just as well I bought the follow-up book, then!
I’m currently reading Zack’s Story of life, love and everything by Abidemi Sanusi.
Want to know what it’s about?
Zack was the ex-boyfriend Kemi couldn’t stay away from. Fortunately he’s just as obsessed with her, and they end up getting back together, having a son and getting married (aww…how sweet!)
However, he’s finding the new roles that have been foisted upon him challenging to juggle, to say the least: he’s now a husband and father, and is looking to be made the Legal Director of his firm.
As if that isn’t enough, he has to deal with his questions on faith, and is also searching for his birth mother. Can he deal with his past and see a way forward for himself and his family in the future?
It follows the same thread as Kemi’s Journal, with someone searching for meaning and trying to reconcile the turbulence life throws up with the concept of an omnipotent and powerful God.

It’s not too late; you could still write the book and call it something like ‘Life, Love and Everything: from the real Zack’!
