I’m currently reading The Kalahari Typing School for Men by Alexander McCall Smith.
I bet you’re wondering what the deal is with my systematic reading of all the books in this series!
A friend of mine is a big fan of Smith’s, and she is very kindly lending me his books, one after the other.
In this fourth book of his No. 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency series, McCall Smith takes us further still into the day-to-day activities of his protagonist Precious Ramotswe, the only female detective in Botswana.
Precious is now facing competition for the first time in her career, and it’s from someone who appears to be much more qualified to be a detective than she is.
